October 1, 2020 (Pittsburgh, PA) – SRI Quality System Registrar to offer WELL Performance Testing for Projects Pursuing the WELL Building Standard

SRI Quality System Registrar (SRI) is proud to announce that it is now approved by the GBCI/IWBI to provide WELL Performance Testing.  SRI will now offer performance testing services to projects pursuing WELL Certification. In addition, SRI will leverage its expertise to help organizations, developers, and building owners understand how their spaces are performing and provide assurance on the impacts of occupant health and well-being.

Overseen by International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), WELL Performance Testing Organizations provide Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) performance testing that includes the evaluation of 67 distinct performance indicators while on the project site, requiring over 20 types of tests to be performed and using 10 or more types of equipment. Performance testing ensures that space is not only designed for health but also provides assurance that it is performing as intended.

WELL Testing represents another major investment and commitment by SRI in environmental and sustainability assessment and verification. “The WELL Building Standard represents a major commitment by projects to deliver healthy and sustainable spaces,” remarks SRI’s Chief Sustainability Officer & CSR Solutions Lead, Jana Lake. She continues, “At SRI, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We are dedicated to supporting health and well-being, and we look forward to working with our clients that are also committed to these goals.”
